2804 - Ferguson

I don't know what the rest of the country saw as coverage last night, but St. Louis saw nonstop coverage from about 4pm on. It's about 10pm now and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon.

So there are protesters everywhere. Except where I am. Cars are burning. You would think we won the super bowl!

Most protesters are being peaceful. But there are always a few people that look for the opportunity, good or bad, to raise hell.

In case you haven't heard all what the grand jury found....
Michael Brown robbed a store.
The officer was looking for the suspect who robbed the store.
The officer saw Michael Brown with the loot in his hand.
The officer tried to stop Michael Brown.
Michael Brown leaned into the police car and attacked the officer.
Michael Brown was shot and ran up the street.
The officer got out and followed Michael Brown.
Michael Brown turned and came back at the officer and was shot and killed.

And the craziness continues. Time to switch to Netflix.

I hope this disorder doesn't persist.

So many sad things about this post but the one that really hit me was, "Cars are burning. You would think we won the super bowl!"

Isn't it pathetic that we think that is a way to celebrate anything?

It is really a very sad statement about some of the folks in our country who see everything as a racist attack. And the news media has been salivating over this for weeks. They are just about as bad as the protesters who are violent.

The media definitely fed the fire.
