There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can.
....
The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

5126 - Moldy Bread - yum
So here's an article about moldy bread and why not to "cut off the bad part"
and eat it anyway.
Oh, trust me, I've thrown away whole loafs of bread at the tiniest sign of mold, and that's without KNOWING all the scientific information you just now gave me.
That looks like such a fun rainbow of colors(lol), but that's a hard pass for me with or without the benefits. Hope you're doing well, and happy Friyay! RO
Mike, i`ve been eating stale and moldy bread (and sometimes not much else either ! ! !) almost every day for the last 50 years and i`m as fit as a fiddle ! ! !.
Sheesh, it's a wonder I'm alive! I cut the moldy bits off bread all the time. Sometimes I'll miss a bit and then find out when I'm eating a sandwich - just a nasty, hard to describe taste. Happens with grapes sometimes too.

ReplyDeleteI am not in the slightest bit tempted to eat around mould... If I see it, the whole lot goes to the compost bin. Or the worm farm.

ReplyDeleteKirk - I'd been just throwing away the moldy pieces. No more! It's all going.
ReplyDeleteSue - Good choice.
RO - Friyay day. Have not heard that before. I like it.
LJ - I hope your luck doesn't run out.

ReplyDeleteBrian - Time to change your ways!
ReplyDeleteI'm with LJ and Brian. Cut off the nasty part and keep the rest.
ReplyDeleteWhat about mold on cheese? Density would keep that down.
ReplyDeleteI am so much wiser now.
Susan - What about swiss cheese, eh?
