This was a sad realization for me once I saw the illusion.
Drive your HOA crazy!
Update - Here are 6 views of the house. But this site goes on and on with lots of other street art.
Make this one bigger to get the full effect.
Which did you see first?
What is this?
This is only 1:00 but has many illusions.
Upside down head, I believe.
ReplyDeleteKirk - Yep.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of wonderfully-painted houses in Germany. This one I hadn't seen before.
ReplyDeleteI love that commercial! Haven't seen it on any of the channels I watch.
ReplyDeleteSome of those are pretty creepy!
ReplyDeleteNo, I can't believe those walls are straight. That's a fantabulous paint job!
ReplyDeleteBill - Makes you want to start painting does... an.
ReplyDeleteKathy - I found that looking at another illusion video that was 15 minutes long. I'd never seen it either.
Deb - I saw the skull first.
Robyn - I found a site that has more views of the house. An update is on the post.
These are very cool. The CR-V ad really shows how perspective can change what we see, with its moving camera. The curved line picture shows how our eyes change what we actually see into something that makes sense. I remember reading about that somewhere. Neat post!
ReplyDeleteThose are bonkers. The first one really got me and the house is just wild. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Mike.
ReplyDeleteJenny - Thanks. Now don't move around too much before you get your balance back.
ReplyDeleteMatt - The first one is a tricky one. MC&HNY back at you!
ReplyDeleteWow - that Honda commercial is a mind blower. I loved it. And the curved line - that is great fun.
ReplyDeleteLady - Did you find the curved line? I'm still looking for it.
ReplyDeleteAwesome paint job. Love the commercial.
ReplyDeleteCC - I think you have to have a specially wired brain to visualize a painted illusion.
ReplyDeleteThat's true Mike, I'd get lost half way through!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the amusing distractions Mike
ReplyDeleteClaudia - Anytime. 😃
ReplyDeleteAh, that voice Honda Home Companion.
ReplyDeleteCourage for the company to put him back on the air...
But it’s nice cue to hear him again...
Anon - I don't know who it is and there's no info on the youtube video.
ReplyDeleteThe clue is “Honda home companion”..as in “ A Prairie Home Companion” , Garrison Keeler’s long running Saturday night NPR radio show
