There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can.
....
The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

5427 - Thursday trees
It's late, no time to research a topic. That means... TREES!
Bill - I figure when I don't understand your comment it has something to do with Lord of the Rings. "Ents are a species of beings in J. R. R. Tolkien's fantasy world Middle-earth who closely resemble trees."
Simmons - Nice. If this were Facebook you would have started a pun war with Bill.
CC - Thanks.
Kathy - If you build a new house you can!
Peg - Good. You need the distraction.
John - You need to get going on your black walnut grove in your backyard.
Matt - Thanks.
Deb - I just checked. I've got 129 more right now. But I find new ones faster than I post them. And last time was the first time I posted one I had posted before.
The only way I can take credit for these is when I originally find them (like on your blog 😄). Other than that, when I post them, I just take the next 15 to 20 in line.
Too many trees would be barely enough.
ReplyDeleteSue - So far my dogwood twigs from the Arbor Day Foundation are hanging in there.
ReplyDeleteThe ents are proud of you.
ReplyDeleteMay the forest be with you.
ReplyDeleteAmazing as always!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have that bathroom in the second photo.
ReplyDeleteloved this!
ReplyDeleteTrees are always good.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. Thanks for the trees, Mike. They are quite amazing.
ReplyDeleteYou must have a vast stash of tree images!

Oh these are fabulous. You chose some good selections. I see chocolate growing! And two rather familiar pictures of Waikiki. Glad you enjoy them

ReplyDeleteWonderful trees, all of them, but I'm especially taken today by the one with the carved otters.
ReplyDeleteJenny - They were done with more time and energy than I have.
ReplyDeleteI love the twisted trunks and that one that looks like it is being gripped by a hand.
ReplyDeleteRiver - Not your standard trees are they?
ReplyDeleteMore trees are always good. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAllen - Maybe I'll post 40 of them next time. But I wouldn't want you to get dizzy from scrolling!
ReplyDeleteThat's a cool tree with all the gourds on the trunk.
ReplyDeleteLady - A cocoa tree.
