Before picture.
After picture... sort of...
I took a picture of the whole tree and it is basically brown. But I can't transfer from my phone to my PC. I used to be able to but I think the updates over the years have stopped talking to each other.
I tried to help the tree stay warm with a few fires under it but it's been too cold at night for too many days. Nature wins the battle this year.
I am sorry. Nature always wins and often plays dirty.

I guess I don't know how these types of trees works. It doesn't die in fall and then bloom again in spring?
ReplyDeleteKirk - The flowers pop out first. Then they fall off and the leaves come out and new flower buds are set. Leaves fall in the fall. In spring the cycle repeats except when the flowers get hit by a freeze when they turn brown and fall off.
