There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can.
....
The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.
talkin' o' trees ..... i were watching a programme about the acorn weevil today...... a fascinating creature with a massive thing on the front of it that it uses to bore into the acorns in order to lay its eggs inside - great little creature
ReplyDeletesome absolute beauties. Again. Thank you.
More to come.
DeleteI like the peaceful feeling of #6 today.
ReplyDeleteAnd cool.
DeleteThat rusty old bike that the tree enveloped is wild. What happened to the rider? Could it be a horror story?
ReplyDeleteIt makes me want to go get an artificial leg and hang it on the tree.
DeleteThe moodiness of #6 appeals to me this morning.
ReplyDeleteMoody and cool with the snow on the ground.
DeleteHow can it be Thursday again already?!? I would enjoy walking through the roots of #5.
ReplyDeleteI know! I had to do some searching last night and came up with 12 more trees just to get to 18.

ReplyDeleteIt's a perfect proportioned tree.
Delete# 6 should be called, “are the smelts runnin’?
ReplyDeleteI looked up smelts. I figured they were fish and I was right.
DeleteAhhhhhh... Wondrous once again; thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou mean woodress again?
DeleteI thinking as the tree grew, it lifted the bike up.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if being lifted up made the bike feel better.
DeleteThe bicycle! So much good stuff here and one exceedingly familiar tree that I know well. Thanks Mike! Aloha
