There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can.
....
The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

6429 - Naps
Peggy sent me this. It came from the internet, so it must be true.
I am a napper. I have been since college. My power naps are 17 minutes long. One napping hack I learned while taking breaks at work: caffeine takes about 20 minutes to kick in. I could drink a cola, take a power nap, and be back to work refreshed from the nap and energized from the caffeine at the same time!
If you posted this at 12:25 AM, you clearly will need a daytime nap today. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteOne of my greatest joys is laying down for a nap on the days I feel like it.
ReplyDeleteIf I nap during the day, I am up all night so it is not so good.

Another reason to nap!
ReplyDeleteIf this is true then my brain must be only half my age.
ReplyDeleteIf I nap during the day it turns into a marathon. My father used to power nap like John A Hill, above. I wish I could do that.
ReplyDeleteIn Flint, Michigan, do they knap ?
