3249 - Say that again?

So how many words do you hear everyday that get mispronounced? I guess some are a regional thing. Others are just ... strange. Who knows how a particular word gets jumbled up in somebody's brain and refuses to come out any way except their special way.

We have a weathercaster that tries her best but sometimes it will be cwoudy in the morning but cwear in the afternoon.

Here are a few more from the internet. Except the last one. I know someone that says the last one.

One of my pet peeves is the mispronunciation of Realtor, pronounced by some a relator.

I went to speech class for 7 years to avoid Wick instead of Rick and wabbit and wadio. Then Barbara Walters makes millions speaking like that. Go figure.

I wonder why Barbara Walters persisted so long.

Mispronunciations teem in everyday usage. Standards are easy.
