Just how issue specific isyou? Specificlly that is.
I hold opinions that, depending upon the issue, could be perceived as leaning toward the left or the right.
For example:
I live in a very liberal, gun control state, but I would make marksmanship training and gun safety mandatory in the public school system. In that respect, I am the NRA's poster boy. I am also a supporter of abortion on demand, usually tagged as a liberal opinion.
Name an issue and I will give you my specific opinion. That's what makes me issue specific.
So overall your a middle of the road person with right wing or left wing opinions depending on the issue. Ann Coulter hates people like you. She wants you to pick a side (lib/cons) and defend it to the death.
I'm like that also to a point. I used to vote a split ticket. But ever since Reagan, who said he was going to balance the budget, I've had trouble voting for a conservative on anything. Maybe that will change some day. But with Bush reconfirming my idea of what a bunch of idiots conservatives are that's not going to happen any time soon.
