129 - Missouri houe bill 811

Well here's a solution for the trees falling on electric lines. Just cut all the trees down. That's what our moron legislators are proposing. So here's a letter to email to them.

House bill 811

From what I understand about this bill it's an agent orange type of bill. Destroy the trees no matter what. Well it's not going to work. If you think eminent domain raised a stink, start cutting down people trees on private property.

Several solutions come to mind about not cutting down tress. 1. Put the wires underground. The chicken little response from the electric companies are unfounded and blown out of proportion. 2. Rearrange the wires. Run them away from the tress by relocating the poles. 3. If the trees have to go the electric companies should have to pay fair market value for a mature tree based on its age and size. That should get them thinking about buried facilities. 4. If they come onto my property they will have to negotiate a construction easement. I won't be inexpensive. 5. If they trespass on my property (outside their easement) I will have them arrested.

Just a reminder. The easement on my property is just that, my property. They can not doing anything to my property without my permission.

This is a bad bill. Do not support it.
