194 - What is parallel parking?
Think about it. When you drive up to a parking space that you supposedly have to parellel park is that what you really do? You actually parallel drive to the space. But when you back into the space you are actually in the process of angular parking. You are not parralel anymore. Once you have completed your maneuver into the space you have sucessfully serial parked since all the cars are lined up serially not parallel. So the proper term for this type of action would be trigonometric parking. Parallel, ANgular, SErial. Or PANSE parking for short.

I'm certainly glad someone finally got this right. I've always thought of it as "quasi-parallel parking" or, in the worst case, just "botched parking resulting in damage to all three cars."
