A while back (a long while) I bought a pack of 30 cd's for 6 bucks (a deal) and set them aside for use "later". So the other day I'm looking for a cd and find the 30 pack. Hey, look at all the cd's I've got! Well they say cd on them but they should have said "coaster".
I tell the computer to "format cd". Computer says "I don't think so". I order the computer to "FORMAT CD". Nope. "FORMAT THE DAMN CD!!!!!!!!" Computer says "please remove your coaster from my cd/dvd player".
Try another cd. (See previous paragraph)

Hey, I think I bought the same economy pack of coasters some time ago. They even stink as coasters!
John's right - they make lousy coasters because the water runs through the hole in the middle, which sort of defeats the purpose of using a coaster in the first place. Now, if you saw them in half, you get two primo ice scrapers. Or you can use them as frisbees if you have a really small dog to chase them. You can also play quoits with them, but your aim has to be pretty good. There are lots of things you can do with our CD's...just use your imagination!
And they're not very absorbant either.
