375 - Friday - Lost a lot of blood today.

Friday sort of disappeared. Donating blood makes me sort of lightheaded for the rest of the day. Good excuse to kick back and do nothing but veg out.

Donating blood or blood products is a 12 hour medical disqualification for an air traffic controller.

One of the proudest days of my life was back in college on the day I, a literal 117-lb weakling, laid on a table next to a Penn State football star to give blood. We finished at the same time. I stood up and walked over to the nurses to get my free cookies and drink...and he passed out and fell like a tree!
