A friend recently was online buying a plane ticket from American Airlines. She pulled up a price and the screen asked 'do you want to proceed'. She said 'yes'. She fills out the information, inputs her credit card number and got this back - "I'm sorry but the ticket price has just increased by $50. Do you still want to buy the ticket?" She was sort of stuck so she had to buy the ticket at the higher price. But it's a wonder that the scum bags that came up with that idea didn't try to hit her up for even more money.
Oh, and she did call and complain and got, "to bad, that's the way the system works now".
