See what I get for getting a post ready early? I did post 570 early thinking that ... well that's the problem, I was thinking. Well I'm doing two posts for today.
If anybody visited lacochran's blog on the 12th, it was a post about whether you would pick up an envelope off the ground or not these days. There were a variety of answers including mine - SURE! Well, yesterday in Clayton, Missouri somebody in a parking garage picked up a package off the ground that was next to their car - BOOM. The person was not killed, just burned badly.
But for a non St. Louis person here's some additional facts. Clayton is St. Louis County's county seat. There are a lot of lawyers in that area. This person had a designated parking spot. This has happened before in Clayton. So when I saw the news flash, I thought, "a bomb? where?" They said on the news, "Clayton." I thought, "oh, ok".

This lawyer, according to the news, was well beloved by his lawyer peers. What does that say?
No one would want to target him even though the envelope was placed next to his car which was parked in its assigned space.
