Perhaps you've heard about Susan Boyle? The singer on Britains got Talent that shocked the show with her singing? Well here's the whole thing.
SUSAN

SATURDAY PROSE FOR NOVEMBER
There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

The best part of this was seeing the faces in the audience change from such mocking sneers to disbelief and shame. And of course in the end, the whole happiness over how good she was.
Oops! AK is me.
She was brilliant. I hope if anything she gets to record an album to share with the world out of this.
Yeah.. I felt a little bit of shame to sneer at her a bit when I saw her grind her hip. But she is brilliant. I think it's time that we all stop being so superficial(including me)
I have heard this performance several times now and each time it is still breathtakingly beautiful. You take a great song that has a beautiful melody that is very difficult to sing (it is difficult because you have to sustain pitch at the end of those phrases which is what caused the crowd to cheer during her performance) and a great voice and put them together and you make real music.
A recording has surfaced of her singing "Cry Me A River" a blues ballad. It is equally as moving if not more. For me, it is as good as Sinatra in his prime (1950's recordings with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra).
GO TEAM S-C-O-T-LAND!
Oh and did I mention Susan is my twin?
This also makes you wonder what one of these makeover compaies could do for her. I'm surprised one hasn't stepped forward already.
