Nice compilation of PSA's and what they have to do to get your attention these days.

SATURDAY PROSE FOR NOVEMBER
There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

Now that gets a Wow
I'd seen the breast cancer one in an email (go figure). But I've not seen the other ones.
This guy has really made some good points: (1) Eventually the PSA producers will have to target their messages to people who actually know breast cancer and lung cancer victims, workplace kitchen fire victims, domestic violence victims, bereaved parents who let their kids get played with by drunken uncles, etc. etc. We can't all give to every worthy cause. (2) It has to be our own individual causes because money is scarce and choices have to be made. (3) Isn't it also sad, cynical and true that only the most graphic stuff gets past our glazed eyeballs and sinks into our hearts and minds in today's over-informed world?
