The local news did a story on the problems Toyota is having tonight. For part of the story, a car dealer was driving them around in a car off his lot. The gas pedal stuck, just like the news keeps talking about. Luckily, he was cool and threw the car into neutral and was able to stop the car.
Apparently there are two kinds of 'stick'. The floor mat stick. And the mechanical failure stick. I think I'd tie a string around the gas pedal to be able to give it a good yank.
