1098 - Space station

If you haven't seen this going around the net it's worth a look. It's a flash link with some graphics about the international space station. It shows what all the station parts are and when they came together. Once the station comes all together you can click on links that explain each part. It's a GEEK FEST!!!!

What? No DirectTV satellite dish? They're gonna miss the NCAAs! ;-)

About 2 weeks ago it was announced that you could see the station for about 15 minutes in the western sky from St. Louis. We watched it with some friends at a local spot called O'Leary's which is in a small town south of STL called Sunset Hills.

J - I think they may have a connection to Hubble so they can get a birds eye view.

B - Missed it.

Seeing the Hubble at Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama was on a par with getting to see the Book of Kells at Trinity University in Dublin, Ireland--awesome beyond words!!!--and I'm no where near the status of geekdom! I don't worship these amazing creations of humans, but I surely do appreciate the brainpower God gave to the people who accomplished making them into realities.
