1372 - 3D

I don't remember if I said it here or not but I was not going to go to a 3D movie. But a remake of Tron made me rethink that. That said it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. You can actually take the glasses off and watch if you don't mind a few fuzzy spots here and there on the screen.

But something interesting happened in the beginning to me. After about 10 minutes of watching with the 3D glasses on, I felt a thumping on top of my head. I thought it was the kids behind me tapping me with something. Nope, not them. What the hell is going on? It's a blood vessel thumping away. I take the glasses off, and it stops. Put them back on, starts up again.

So is a blood vessel in my head going to explode because of 3D glasses? I guess we'll find out. I paid 11 bucks to see this and I'm not leaving. After about another 10 minutes it stopped. I guess my brain figured out that I wasn't going to leave and it was going to have to put up with 3D.

At the end of the movie it was no big deal walking down the steps to get out of the theatre because I was watching the back of the person in front of me, not the steps. But during the movie I got up to go to the bathroom. I took the glasses off and was watching the steps as I walked down them and was a little tipsy. I had to hold on to the railing to get down. I noticed a few other people wobbling and wandering as they walked out during the show.

So that's pretty much it for 3D. Not a real big deal but interesting. ..... OH! The movie!! It was ..... was .... good. It's a little different than the original Tron. And I've seen the original so many times on TV that I tried to pretend that this wasn't Tron. It was a good movie, (end of thought)

When Aaron is old enough, I'll go try a 3D movie with him.

Sounds like 3D makes one feel old. Wobbly, unable to see well. I'll skip it.

What if you always feel a little tipsy and wobbly?
