Here's a picture of the first wave coming into shore.
For some aerial before and after shots from google the New York Times has some interactive pictures. When all of them load there will be a little blue bar in the middle of the picture. You can slide the blue bar back and forth to see the before and after pictures. Or you can just click anywhere on a picture and the bar will go to where you clicked. Look at these soon. No telling how long they will be accessible.
AND..... and? AAAAANNNNNNDDDDD..... Here's a link to the Nova program on the tsunami that showed last night. (As of last night all it would do is show a preview. Maybe it's working now. Maybe not.)

It's too bad the US can't blame this on a bad country and attack them to fix the problem. You know if this happened to China somebody would have been executed by now.

Yes, they had tsunami related programs here a couple of nights ago too. Sad sad ones about how an entire school of children were swept away leaving parents with no kids in that town. And then, in other places, kids with no parents.
I thought the whole thing happened because God is warning Japan to turn to Christianity.
A - If 10 people would have been killed by terrorists there would have been a world outcry. 10,000 people killed by nature is just a statistic.
J - I really surprised we haven't heard that yet.
Don't knock China--we may need them to bail us out, financially.
