1875 - 2010 US Census

If you looked at the title and came up with a census of minus 125 for the US your going to be sadly disappointed when you go outside today and all those people are in your way bugging the hell out of you.

I'm having one of those 'did I post this before' moments. But I'm going with it anyway. The map here is just a picture. The map at THIS SITE is the real thing. Interactive. Like a two year old. Move that cursor around and find out everything about anything census wise. Use the drop down 'view more maps' to keep yourself busy for the rest of the day.

I have more of those moments all the time. I just ignore them.

Yes -- I'm going to spend some quality (curious) time with this one. Thank you, Mike.

That was interesting - not just the census data but looking around at the names of places in the US.

Bilbo - More of what moments? Hey, did I tell you about this cool map I found?

Angel - Maps can occupy days for me.

Amanda - So it's so interesting you're moving back here, right?

Loving county in Texas has only 84 people in it. Impressive!

That might be the coolest map you've ever posted. Good job Mike!

Grand - It wouldn't be too hard to be a big cheese in that county.

Jay - Maps are where it's at.

I see nobody caught my math error. I was going to fix it but then thought ... naaaaa.

Oh! I caught your math error ... I was just a little late in commenting.

And I need to move to light blue!

Dana - There are some REALLY light blue areas in Texas and New Mexico. You might be the only person for miles and miles.
