Susan Cain: The power of introverts
I found something about a book called "Quiet". When looking for more information on it I found a TED talk by the author.
"Where's Wanda?"

There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

Very interesting, I'm going to watch it today.
I'm an introvert, btw
This has been very interesting...I think I live with a couple of introverts and its been enlightening to help me appreciate the way they are.
I currently have that book on hold at the library :)
Angel - Me too.
Amanda - The introverts thank you for watching.
Dana - Why am I not surprised.
It's a shame that so many people see extroversion as the norm, and introversion as a deficit.
According to the book, about 1/3 of people are introverts. This is interesting because it seems like every single person in the blog world claims to also be an introvert. Maybe blogging is the primary activity of most introverts.

A great video I watched during lunch.
Grand - I agree.
Jay - Exactly. You can deal with other people at your own pace and in your own time.
Elvis - Good way to spend lunch. Watching TED videos. I'm probably going to help you out tomorrow too.
