They're gonna use vouchers for WHAT?!
Rep. Valarie Hodges, R-Watson, says she had no idea that Gov. Bobby Jindal’s overhaul of the state’s educational system might mean taxpayer support of Muslim schools.
“I actually support funding for teaching the fundamentals of America’s Founding Fathers’ religion, which is Christianity, in public schools or private schools,” the District 64 Representative said Monday.
There be some real smart legislators out there in them thare states of the united ain't there? I think Valarie should have to be retested on the freedom of religion part of the constitution.
It's hard to believe that people, let alone legislators, can be this stupid. Vouchers, use them anywhere you want to as long as they meet the state sanctioned requirements. I think that's called communism. Or wateverism.
Now I'm wondering if this is a spoof site. Nope, HERE'S the article in Huffington Post. I originally found it HERE on a site called 'crooks and liars'.
Anyway, this pin head has withdrawn her support for the bill because the wrong people might get some of her precious tax dollars. I wonder if we could withdraw support for her salary.

She's not a deepthinker, is she?
Some people elected her to the legislature. Still, she may not be dumber than our Reps in Washington.
All the hate among these people makes me hate them.
Angel - The term shallow would be to deep for her.
Duck - Makes you wonder about some voters out there.
Peg - You got that right.
There are more people like Valarie Hodges holding office out there than we like to admit. Hell, she'll probably get reelected by a big margin.
Jay
Jay - Sad but true.
Watson is just north of Denham Springs, LA. Boondocks. I had to use Mapquest for this.
Grand - I figured she was probably a boondockian.
they're just getting dumber and dumber and crazier and crazier
Dianne - Unfortunately your comment is becoming righter and righter.
Northern Livingston Parish is a skerry place, a far piece away from The Back of Beyond. They don't like Cajuns there.
