(Here comes the transition.)
That said the lefties are saying they are wrong about HDL cholesterol.
A new genetic study suggests that high-density lipoprotein, the so-called good cholesterol commonly known as HDL, may not actually be as good for us as physicians previously thought. A study of more than 100,000 people found that those with genes that promote production of higher-than-normal levels of HDL do not have a lower risk of having a heart attack, a finding that has surprised researchers immensely.
This is good news for me. Even though my overall readings have always been below 200 my HDL has always been between 25-30.

The shifting sands of health and medical advice seerves to confuse left and right equally. I wasn't aware that HDL was a left-right issue.
Just so they tellme that chocolate is good for me.
So nothing hat we eat is good for us?
I think the only thing we can be sure of is no one knows squat.
And hell I could be wrong. :-)
Where do we stand on eggs these days? They keep going back and forth and I can never remember if they're good or bad for us.

Heidi - It's my rightie friends that are always poopooing the medical establishment when the declare something bad for you. I still have friends that think smoking isn't bad.
Angel - I did a personal study and chocolate is good.
Elvis - Everything is good and bad at the same time. It's a metaphysical thing.
Peg - But what if you're right?
Jay - It's just the yolk that's bad. And that's because of the colester..... wait... crap!
