A murder of crows.
What got me on this subject? A trivia question yesterday about what a group of cats is called. I'd never heard the word before. So what is the following group called?
The answer is in the comments. Or if you want to see the universe of collective nouns you can go HERE. Where you'll find out about a 'dazzle of zebras'.

A group of cats is called a 'clowder of cats'.
If the crows just happen to come together, could that be a manslaughter of crows?
A passle?
On the other hand, the zebras really rated.
A mess of terriers is so apt.
Angel - I don't think anything crows do is by happenstance. They seem to be very organized.
Duck - Terriers do belong to the 'yappy dog' group don't they?
Clouder sounds uncomfortably close to chowder.
I think they came up with a "Murder of Crows" after watching the movie "The Birds."

Also a 'glaring' of cats.
A pod of dolphins? A pride of lions? An embarassment of riches?
How'd you get to my house to take a picture of the cats!
Grand - I think they got the terms confused in Asia.
Jay - And I had put that movie out of mind. Thanks.
John - If the whole clowder is looking at you that would be glaring.
Elvis - I'm still working on being embarassed.
Andrea - You have a spy cat that's posting pictures on the net.
