Have you been following the asteroid near flyby we're going to have soon? Here is a 2 minute video that boils it down to 'no big deal'. Oh and don't worry about the other 100,000 asteroids that are out there in near by orbits.

NASA has been coming up with all sorts of plans to protect the Earth from asteroid strikes. The latest one is to launch a missile containing a giant tube of Preparation A, which is guaranteed to shrink asteroids.
It's no big deal; but they include a picture of the Tunguska event?
if an asteroid drops to the ground will it melt the snow?
Bilbo - Or if it doesn't shrink maybe it can just go down the the giant tube. Sort of like where America is going.
