2219 - Misc. Monday

The new math.

Update - Jay was wondering which one of the spoons was wrong. Well, they're BOTH wrong. 1/4 cup is 59 ml and 1/2 cup is 118 ml.

This is a REAL family owned business.

This shot is from a gym shower room. Look closely. See anything.... odd?

I think the people from Westboro Baptist Church have been leaving comments on the net.

Before you scroll down to the next picture know that it is not what it seems. You'll know right away why I didn't make this the first picture. I didn't want this popping up on your screen unannounced. So I'm announcing it. You have to look at it for a few seconds to see what it really is.

Heidi - It is deceiving isn't it.

Peg - What?! Which one?

John - A rural Missourian knew what it was right away, right?

I was thinking, wow!! that's some skin disease, must hurt like hell

I love each of these
the new math really has me scratching my head

as for the comment about deaf child - it is possible that it was made by a "deaf advocate"
a friend's grandchild got surgery that helped her hear and now the parents are getting hate mail from deaf people and groups telling them they are ashamed of their child and that it was akin to plastic surgery
even the deaf school has not been supportive
it's a huge issue that's very confusing to me

Now I have to go to Google and find out which of those two measuring spoons is correct.

Claudia - that's it, sweet potatoes.

Dianne - The deaf seem to be protective of their condition. I guess it's a badge of honor.

Bilbo - It has to be that big to be able to tell what it is. When I first saw it it was a thumbnail. I almost didn't click on it except for the caption it had.

Jay - That's something I forgot to do.

Andrea - I got your 'Piggies! LOL' comment in my email but apparently Blogger has deemed your comment unworthy.

Are those pigs???

Gnetch - That's what those oinkers are!
