Lets see the criteria they used.
- Strip clubs per capita (Lust)
- Cosmetic surgeons per capita (Pride)
- Violent crime per year per 1,000 residents (Wrath)
- Theft per year per 1,000 residents (Envy)
- Percentage of disposable income given to charity each year (Greed)
- Percentage of obese residents (Gluttony)
- Percentage of physically inactive residents (Sloth)
Well the first one, strip clubs, would be zero if they didn't count the Illinois side of the river. Strip clubs are what keep the small towns on the East Side going. And actually, I've never been to one around here. I guess I need to get with the program.
Cosmetic surgery? I don't know anyone here who has had any. Violent crimes? The City of St. Louis has more than it's fair share. But as the police chief has stated in the past, if you are into dealing drugs in the city your life span will be considerably shorter than most people.
Theft? Again, if you live in certain areas of the City you will be a target of theft. Charity? They didn't survey my wife.
Obesity and Inactive people? Welcome to America.

Who would have guessed?
I can't believe Disneyland-on-the-Potomac didn't make the top ten. I think I need to take another look at the revised seven deadly sins of the nation's capitol: lust, pride, wrath, envy, sloth, greed, and compromise (gluttony would only make the list because everybody has to eat his words frequently).
I'm just amazed at which places got included, other than Las Vegas.
With the exception of Las Vegas I wouldn't have picked those on the list. I've been to pittsburg, cincinatti and buffalo & I didn't see a large indication of plastic surgery!
Thats a surprising list....not that I know a lot about cities in the US.
