When Jim was born, his fascination with tractors began when he was given his tractor-themed mobile that hung above his cot. He grew up loving tractors. He had little models of them, he wrote about them and when he became old enough, he made his own tractor repair shop. He could fix any tractor and people from all across the world would come to him to have their tractors fixed. No problem was too big for Jim.
One day, he's out driving his favorite tractor. After an hour, it breaks down. Not a problem for ol' Jim. He goes to fix it. He tries and tries, getting ideas out of his own tractor-fixing manual using his tractor-decorated tools. He can't fix it. He keeps trying into the late evening hours and still can't fix it. He screams in anger "I hate tractors!", throws down his tractor-themed hat and heads to the bar.
At the bar, he sits and sadly nurses a beer. The bartender comes up to him, sees that he's looking glum, and suggests something that could cheer him up. "See that door over there?" he says, "Behind that door is a room full of smoke. Completely full. I'll give you $100 if you can go in and get rid of the smoke."
Interested, Jim watches other people attempt the feat. The first man enters, shuts the door, seconds later he exits coughing and choking. The second man enters, shuts the door, a dozen seconds later, he comes out, red in the face, coughing and heaving and spluttering.
Jim downs his beer and goes to the door. He enters, shuts the door and exits a minute later, the room is empty and clear of smoke. The bar cheers for him and the bartender slams the prize down. "WOW, well done! But how on earth did you do it?" Jim replies "Well, you see, I'm an extractor fan."

Ouch. Well-played, Mike.
Wonderful! I didn't see that pun coming!
First the groan, then the grin!
That was set up so perfectly!
You're intractable!
