I donated blood (again and again) .... last week? Anyway, it got me looking at the latest info on blood types. Things have changed a bit. Here is a blood compatibility chart. The wikipedia page this comes from has a few caveats associated with it.
And then there is plasma. The exact compatibility opposite of blood cells.
There is also a site called bloodbook.com that has even more info. So bone up on your blood knowledge for Halloween. You wouldn't want to drink an incompatible blood type.

So AB+ people are compatible with any type of donor?
Elvis - AB+ people are universal recipients. O- are universal donors but only O- people can donate to them.
