2335 - Botfly/mango worms

Are you squeamish? You might not want to watch this video. I think this is in Africa. A 6 week old puppy has been infected with botfly worms. And this is the way they get them out of and off the puppy.

They don't need gloves the worms aren't a danger. I think they spray the animals with insecticide before removal. I think they can feel where the worms are better without them. The removal of the worms is uncomfortable for a few seconds but not painful. It would be much worse to leave them in. These people work hard to help abandoned animals with very little money and resources. It is really not fair to criticize them. Without their help animals would suffer greatly and many would die in misery.
