I found a video of the clouds and storm patterns for all of 2013. If you have 8 minutes give it a watch. It's interesting to see the storms form and move across the oceans onto land. There is some narration pointing out some of the storm patterns.

It's just fascinating to what how they develop and fully emerge.
It's more fun to view them retrospectively than experience them the first time.
