Where's this oil flowing? On the railroads. And it seems there have been more accidents recently. That leads people to make charts graphs and MAPS! I love maps. Especially interactive maps.
So here's a map from PriceofOil.com. The site is an anti oil site but it has some interesting information about oil shipments around the country.
And as always St. Louis has a couple of questionable points on the map.
One is a refinery at Sauget, Illinois. There have been exposés in the news about Sauget many times in the past. One I remember was that they have lost 4 million gallons of gasoline into the water table. Don't buy a house near the refinery.
So back to the MAP. See where the shipments are from and where they are going.
