I found an article about the EEOC filing suit against a company for forcing their employees to participate in a religion like atmosphere called 'Onionhead'. From the ARTICLE...
Bosses at a Long Island health care company forced their workers to participate in a religion known as "Onionhead," in which workers are required "to thank God for their employment" and to tell their bosses "I love you," the federal government claims in Federal Court.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Wednesday took on the United Health Programs of America Inc. and Cost Containment Group of Sayosset, on behalf of three of three workers: Elizabeth Ontaneda, Francine Pennisi and Faith Pabon.
So right away I'm thinking, is this a joke? Like an Onion article? So I check Wikipedia. There is no mention of the Onionhead religion. Snopes? Nothing.
So I look it up on Google. There are a lot of articles, especially about the lawsuit. The company mentioned in the article is real. But the craziness of this, along with the name Onionhead, makes me wonder.
I found this on Google Images...
I found this on another blogsite.
Onionhead religion taking off
It is not what is Onionhead - it is who is Onionhead? Onionhead is this incredibly pure, wise and adorable character who teaches us how to name it - claim it - tame it - aim it. Onion spelled backwards is ‘no-i-no’. He wants everyone to know how they feel and then know what to do with those feelings. He helps us direct our emotions in a truthful and compassionate way. Which in turn assists us to communicate more appropriately and peacefully. In turn, we then approach life from a place of our wellness rather than a place of our wounds.
His motto is: peel it - feel it - heal it
I guess I won't believe it until I see it on the evening news. We all know how reliable the evening news is.

Will garlic lovers eventually have a schism from this group?
There are some strange beliefs out there; it's sometimes hard to separate the real from the spurious.
I respect all beliefs, but I would never work for that company. Not that I believe the story because I don't.
Unless they hired me as CEO and everyone had to tell me they loved me every day. I could deal with that. LOL
