2671 - You want me to what?

You want to help us move? That was a standard question when I was in my 20's, 30's, and 40's. But there came a time when the answer became 'NO'. You get into your late 40's and moving parties just aren't any fun anymore.

Then your daughter and son-in-law move.

My son-in-law drove the big truck and I drove the smaller truck. It wasn't that far of a move, 5 miles, but it might have well been 500 miles. You still have to load and unload trucks. Luckily my daughter and SIL have lots of friends and family. So the unloading went quickly yesterday. Maybe this will be the last time I do this? HA!

At our age, a good movement is the high point of the day.

I am thankful our daughter lives in Ohio and the moving van and moving men were paid for by his company. And thankfully I've had 4 back surgeries so I can say NO. :-)

That is a benefit of having not too many possessions.

Moving parties can be fun if you turn them into a picnic! And they're great for meeting guys!
