Well here's a depressing story. A 74 year old has successful heart surgery and is home recuperating. Family members try to call him to see how he is doing and can't get ahold of him. They do not live close by so they call the police to do a welfare check on the man.
The police go to his house and he doesn't answer the door. The police decide to break in. The 74 year old guy hears someone breaking in and gets his gun.
You can guess what happened next. His heart surgery winds up getting him killed by the police.
Is this a great country or what?

That is really freaky story. Maybe he should just answer his phone!
It stated that his family didn't live near by - could have been another state - why is it their fault that the cops just shoot and ask questions later? remind me why this is the best place to live again?
That is insane. It's one of those stories that will forever have you asking, "How in the heck did this happen??"
