Since yesterday was cartoon Saturday I thought I would save pi for today. Besides, I collected a whole bunch of pi stuff yesterday.
The best pi thing was a pi browne made for me by my daughter. Follow the story from the top left picture of the browne, to me holding the browne, to the partially eaten picture of the browne.
My daughter has a mold to make pi shaped food. She decided on a browne. It turn out looking OK. I went to break a piece off the edge and wound up picking the whole thing up. Since it is different thicknesses it baked differently across itself. The middle was still edible but the edge was hard as a frisby.
Here is 3.14.15 9:26:53 on my atomic clock. (The year is missing but close enough.)
Then I found this fact meme about pi. Pi has everything in it. I like peaches best although apple crumb pie is great too.
And then there is the password/pin thing. How to come up with a safe one. Well here's the answer.
I didn't realize I already know all the digits of pi.
You may have to read this several times to have it make sense. But it eventually will.
And then is pi plus one the pi day 3.15, or the number 4.14? Think about this the rest of the day.

The next time we get together, I'll tell you the story of the time our daughter (at age 7) baked us a cake. Sneak preview: substituting ingredients of the same color when you don't have what the recipe calls for does not always work.

The brownie Pi would have made her a friend for life (hint, hint...come one, Mike's daughter...).
A pi brownie? That's wonderful! I made sure I ate a piece of pie yesterday. I felt it my duty. (Or as my wife thinks, I thought it a good excuse...)
