3086 - SB23 - Black boxes
Where are these black boxes? Maybe in your car. This article was from 2013 so I'm not sure what's been done on this since then. But there are people out there that want to tax you by the miles you drive.

I see problems and people bitching. Certainly there's the privacy issue. But what about people who work in cities but can't afford to live there? I'm looking at you L.A., Seattle, San Francisco, and New York!
This is exacting a tax on the less affluent.

Always another way for the government to try to find a tax....I'm pretty sure Illinois would jump on it!
Well, there was a university that tried a walking assessment for students that did not drive.
