The High Table

There are billions of people and a version of normal to go along with each one of them. No two versions are exactly the same. There will be hundreds of thousands of little things that make up your version of normal. With any luck you can find people that have close to the same idea of what normal is that you do. These are your friends. Anyone else you try to tolerate as best you can. .... The exact definition of normal depends on who's running the asylum.

Always take the Myers-Briggs Test with a lot of skepticism.
I have had it done or taken it 4 times now. Always the same. I may try this again later just to see if it will be the same this time. While I find it interesting and there are certain patterns for certain, I always hated that they used this in the corporate world to hire/fire/promote etc.
These are always at least good for conversation. My daughter's fiance just took the test for the first time, and he told her they don't belong together. They decided they would ignore the results.
They do provoke thought on a different level.
These kind of Inventories are interesting, but understanding just what they measure and how reliable they are is a complicated task. As you said, Mike, more than a few grains of salt are required.
