3160 - Failing nations
Interesting article about a book called 'Why Nations Fail'.
From the article...
Nations thrive when they develop “inclusive” political and economic institutions, and they fail when those institutions become “extractive” and concentrate power and opportunity in the hands of only a few.
It's a short but interesting read.

Mike, I'll come back to read the article, but it looks like it might depress me! I still have news from the weekend rattling around in my head.
It was an interesting and thoughtful article!
Well worth the read.

What? Who'd have thought that an explotive system that grinds down the populace would be bad long term?
Perhaps it is nature's slow way to eventually get rid of us if we don't evolve.
A nice read. Some of our states would fit the bill.
Pretty good article, Mike. :-)
