That puts things in perspective beautifully. It sort of puts personal problems on a comparable basis to the flow of history.
I've always found it sobering that I was born only 86 years after the end of the Civil War.
I sometimes wonder if we are headed back that way again with all the division in our country. Are you going to Wash U to see the debate this Sunday?
