I'd never heard of Jimmy Carr before. He's a British comedian. Well last night we watched a Netflix show of his. He's not edgy. He's way past the edge. Way way past. 'Jimmy Carr:Funny Business' is name of his special. He's not an in your face potty talker but a deadpan delivery nasty comic. It's definitely XXX rated. I'll stay away from the XXX here.
But the house was packed and most of the people knew what they were in for. Some people were tricked into coming to the show and were surprised to say the least.
He is so confidant that during the show he has an 'insult me' segment where he asks the audience to throw their best insults at him. He has some great comebacks.
He has a lot of one liners in his show. Some of them have been featured in Saturday Jokes already. That made me feel at one with the comedy circuit.
Most of my Saturday jokes are jokes that I've found at least a month ago if not longer. I have a sufficient supply on hand for about 4 Saturday's at any one time. If I get down to a two Saturday supply I start to panic.
Yesterday in my post I used - What did the thesaurus eat for breakfast? A synonym roll.
I've had it for awhile but Bilbo (or a Bilbo friend) found a meme and used it the day before. I saw the meme and thought 'that sure looks familiar'. And there it was the next day coming up for a post. Oh well. Other people may not have seen it. Besides, half of the Saturday Jokes are old jokes for the old people anyway.

It was my friend, who is a speech pathologist, who posted the meme on what the thesaurus ate for breakfast. I still think one of the best thesaurus jokes was in the Harvard Lampoon parody "Bored of the Rings," in which the hobbits were attacked by a thesaurus - described as a fearsome creature with long, dangling participles and a pronounced gazetteer.
