Have you seen the meme that says the US has been at war 222 of the last 239 years?
Ever wonder where those stats came from? Wonder no more. HERE is the blog that they came from with all the stats to back them up.
I did some Wikipedia war checking and all the ones I checked were there and explained. Some are pushing the definition of "war" a little but we were fighting somebody about something for most of those years.

well that's just pitiful.
Some of those were not even mentioned in school.
So, what were the "Quasi-Wars" in 1798, 1799, and 1800? Did we defeat the Quasis?
