I imagine a lot of people are having this thought after the electoral college failed to come through and rebel.

Cloudia said...: Having faced decades and decades of ups and downs, I remember bad presidents before when everything good felt to be out in the wilderness. But it made us strong, effective, and ultimately victorious in some areas that we now celebrate. (Stonewall). They cannot take it all back. You can;t put the cat back in the bag. And perhaps living in such conditions will strengthen and wise up some of our younger folk. Meanwhile, when paul ryan tries to take away medicare and health insurance for millions, there WILL be an outcry from the insurance industry, the hospitals, and millions of trump supporters! Who knows, maybe he will stand up to that, build a lot of shit, and not be the end of the world? Giving up hope is suicide. But yes, I wake and think: oh sht! it's not a bad dream! Checks & Balances & Bernie Sanders and Eliz Warren and the rest of us have to be on our toes. No one wants to perform at the innauguration!
