3677 - Water water everywhere

Missouri has had 10+ inches of rain over the past week. The flood waters are rising!! Here's a MODOT map of closed roads by water. The red circle that's half red and wavy is a road closed by flooding. The water is supposed to start going down today.

Interstate 44 and interstate 55 are closed at St. Louis.

16 months ago we had a once in a life time flood around St. Louis. This one equaled the previous flood.

Climate change is a strong posibility.

Is this a first, Mike? Wow

Cloudia - It's a first for two major area floods within 16 months. Even though I am 5 minutes away from a river I'm 200 feet above it. Noah would be collecting animals again before I got any flood water. The last time before 2015 that there was a big flood was 1993.

I'd start moving it all to the top floor. :-)
Stay high and dry my friend.

That's a lot of rain! Sometimes we need to hunker down and wait things out or run like hell if you have to.
I went through Agnes flooding as a young teen. Water can be devastating; good luck to all.
