3914 - Space wars

I say space wars because I've seen several in the last few days. Last night Claudia and I saw Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I thought it was good. But I'm not a Star Wars aficionado like my son in law. He was disappointed with it because... (and he rattled off Star Wars error after error). I'm glad I'm not that Star Wars smart.

And for Christmas I got a movie called 'The Last Starfighter' (1984). Anybody remember it?

This was the first movie to use CGI. So I not only watched the movie, but also all the shorts about the making of the movie. I say shorts but there was about 45 minutes of extra stuff.

Also got a movie called Looper. It's a shoot 'em up about time travelers. And yes I've watched it already also.

It's been a sci-fi Christmas.

I hate to admit it, but I haven't seen the episode 7 yet. I'm not much of a go to the movies kind of guy, so if we go, it's usually to see something Chris wants to see.

I really enjoyed The Last Jedi. There's no point in overanalyzing it ... just have fun.

I have never seen a Stars Wars Movie. There should be some kind of award for that.

I've seen a few Star Wars movies; but not The Last Jedi. When the crowds go down, we'll go.
