Lilly and I had been to McDonald's. It was dark out already and we were heading down a street called Laclede Station. It's the street right before we turn off into subdivision streets to get to her house.
My phone rang. I couldn't get to it on the busy street. We turned into the first subdivision street that I've driven over a hundred times. I pulled over to check the phone.
It was Lilly's dad, Brad, wondering where we were. I told him we were on the way home. That we had just turned off of Laclede Station and were on the first street in the subdivision.
Out of the backseat comes this 4-year-old voice, and with great certainty hollers, "WE'RE ON WHITEHAVEN!"
Brad said, "Well I guess Lilly knows where she is."
Yes she did.
