4403 - Phones
She doesn't. But the one thing she always has is power. I'm not talking about those silly portable phones that need batteries. Nope. I'm talking about those reliable Western Electric phones made to last 50 years phones that still work after 75 years.
You know. The ones that you can kill somebody with.

Ah, yes ... the good old days, when you needed strongly-built furniture to support the weight of a solid bakelite desk phone.

also they ones you can hear people on!
Love those phones! When I was a kid, our phone company, if I remember correctly, rented them to all customers. It wasn't until years later that people could actually buy a phone.
There's something to be said regarding the reliability of old rotary phones.
