I almost forgot. Today is 9-11. 19 years later.
And on an anniversary day where we lost 3000 people, we may lose another 3000 thanks to the terrorist we have in the White House. Osama would be proud of the orange destructor. 190,000, closing in on 200,000, maybe topping out at 300,000+.

I have family members who think trumpie is 'the lesser of two evils'. Other family members who think he's doing a 'damn fine job'.
It makes me ill.
I am not a Biden fan. I ordinarily vote 3rd party because I'd like to see REAL change in my lifetime. But this year I will vote for Joe. I'll hate the idea of voting 'for' him, because I'm not thrilled.
But my recurring fungal toe infection would be a better president than the guy who's in office now.
Way better.

September 11 is also the anniversary of the 1973 military coup that overthrew democracy in Chile.
But of course we don't have to worry about a military coup here in the US. We already got the Electoral College.

Way past time to dump the electoral college and go to ranked-choice voting. And it makes me angry that I can't remember what magazine I saw an even better voting system in. It was years ago. And if I had foreseen all this BS going on now I would have saved it.
So in 1905 Bavaria banished tRump's grandad for failing to serve in the Bavarian army? The position was filled adequately there by conscripting a young Austrian, Herr Hitler :-(
